He has done all these things i won’t deny that, but when someone punches you in the face, you don’t always walk away, you fight back. He really should be still leader of the SNP and still fighting his corner, he gave up too easily. It doesn’t feel like his efforts have gone to waste tho, they truly haven’t, he has spoken out for the people and the government know they can’t carry on the way they are doing. Not many people in England / Wales/ NI even like the politicians that are in power either but we don’t vote to try and get out, we just fight it by voting out the leader and kick them out!

Then why has he resigned? He clearly has been weak all along and the people have Scotland have got rid of him, over half of Scotland didn’t believe he could run the country and now he knows for certain he can’t and won’t be able to do that.
Not everyone in the rest of the UK wanted that government. What makes you think being independent won’t make you get the government you don’t want? Scotland would still need an army and if there was a terrorist threat. I am two ways with bedroom tax. I don’t agree if you have a disabled or someone who needs a carer should be taxed but why should someone on their own have a 5 bedroom council house when a family is cramming all into one space who might need that house? It’s a no brained.
I don’t know what to say, people are allowed their own opinion and thats my take from all i have seen, read, listened to etc. I am no expert but I really do believe were better together. I have spoken to people who work with MP’s and such so i would like to have hoped i knew something about the whole matter.
